QR Posters
What we count without asking
Each QR opening adds 1 to a poster counter (date, time and poster). We do not store your IP address, your browser or any identifier. You can continue to the destination without accepting anything.
What “Accept” does
We store a first-party cookie with a signed random value in your browser. It is only used to estimate how many different browsers open our posters (opening several still counts once). We do not know who you are and we do not follow you across browsers or devices. Our database only stores a cryptographic digest of that value, never the value itself.
If you do not accept
The visit is counted anonymously and you are not recognised afterwards.
Figures are estimates
“Unique browsers” do not represent verified people: one person with two browsers counts twice, and anyone who clears cookies or uses private mode is not recognised.
What is kept and what is deleted
When you forget this browser we delete the cookie and the record that allowed it to be recognised. Aggregated counters (how many visits happened) are kept because they contain no personal data and cannot be linked to you.
